About PGD Trigger

Better shots begin with a better connection between your hand and your paddle. By creating a consistent reference position for your hand, PGD Trigger improves paddle awareness, grip stability, and face control — so you rely on feel, not excessive grip pressure.

Defined Finger Ledge

A leverage point where your index finger meets the handle for a more connected feel.

Repeatable Hand Placement

Return to the same grip position every time you pick up your paddle.

Universal Fit

Easy adjustability on any standard pickleball paddle handle.

Low-Profile Design

Functional support without turning your handle into a bulky accessory.

Three Colorways

Available in Pink, Light Blue, and Black.

How to Install It

Four steps — on your paddle in under a minute.

1

Pick Your Paddle

PGD Trigger has a universal fit that works on any standard pickleball paddle handle — no tools required.

2

Slide the Band On

Stretch the band over the butt cap and slide it up the handle to where your index finger naturally rests in your playing grip.

3

Position the Finger Ledge

Rotate the Trigger so the ledge supports the inside of your index finger. This is your reference point for a consistent grip every time.

4

Lock In Your Grip

Take your normal grip and check the feel — secure and connected without extra squeeze. Micro-adjust the height or angle until it disappears into your swing.

You Did It Right If…

  • ✓The finger ledge sits where your index finger naturally rests
  • ✓The band is snug on the handle — no spinning or sliding
  • ✓Your hand returns to the same position every time you grip
  • ✓You can hold the paddle securely without squeezing hard

Pro Tips

  • ★Start with the ledge under your index finger, then micro-adjust between rallies
  • ★Use it for dinks and resets first to build the repeatable reference point
  • ★Pair with a fresh WrapGrip overgrip for the best combined feel
  • ★Own multiple paddles? Grab a Trigger for each so the feel stays consistent

Common Mistakes

  • ✕Mounting it too high or too low — align it with your index finger's natural rest spot
  • ✕Leaving the band loose so it rotates mid-rally
  • ✕Over-gripping — the ledge works best with relaxed pressure
  • ✕Giving up after one game — give your hand a few sessions to build the habit
